A new challenge, a new project!

Children with hearing loss (deaf children) need our help.

The earmould is an ear piece that is changed every 6 months to a year and is made to fit the ear canal, by taking an impression. The role of the earmould is important: it holds the hearing aid in place and fits it to the ear, it has an acoustic role, and wearing it over a long period affects how well it works, the shape and the hygiene of the ear.

Asociația Fiți Buni intends to cover the cost of making earmoulds for any wearer of a hearing aid up to the age of 16 in social need, whatever the model of the hearing aid, the make and the date of purchase — to begin with, for those in our county.

We intend to provide free of charge the batteries the hearing aids need in order to work as well.

We intend to cover the travel costs of the child fitted with the aid and of his or her parent to the fitting centre as well.

We want to start the project as soon as possible, mobilising as many individuals and organisations as we can.
