Did you know that hearing loss (DEAFNESS) affects between 1 and 3 of every 1000 newborns?

Hearing screening is carried out immediately after the baby is born and its purpose is to detect as early as possible any congenital hearing impairments, which can lead to deafness if they are not found and treated in time.

The test is done by the neonatologist in the first days of life, it takes a few minutes for both ears, it is not an invasive test and it can therefore be repeated whenever a second measurement is needed.
