New Year's Eve in prayer

On the night between the years, many believers from Caracal and the surrounding area chose to gather in prayer in the church of Caracal Municipal Hospital, knowing that prayer will fulfil them spiritually in the year to come, and also to give thanks to God for the year that is just ending.

The liturgical programme on New Year's Eve will begin at 11.45 pm with the service of the Akathist of our Lord Jesus Christ, together with prayers of thanksgiving for the benefits received in the year that has passed and prayers at the entry into the new year, and will continue with the Divine Liturgy and an agape meal.
