May we have angels on the road!

O Lord and Master of my life, do not give me the spirit of sloth, of anxious care for many things, of the love of power and of idle talk.

But give me, Your servant, the spirit of chastity, of a humble mind, of patience and of love.

O God, be merciful to me, a sinner!

O God, cleanse me, a sinner!

You who fashioned me, O God, save me!

Without number have I sinned, O Lord, forgive me!
