May we have angels on the road!
O Lord and Master of my life, the spirit of sloth, of anxious care for many things, of the love of power and of idle talk, give it not to me.
But the spirit of chastity, of humble thought, of patience and of love, bestow it upon me, Thy servant.
O God, be merciful to me, a sinner!
O God, cleanse me, a sinner!
Thou who hast fashioned me, O God, save me!
Without number have I sinned, O Lord, forgive me!
